Scott Drizhal is chosen to go on a solo, 3-year mission to Mars as part of a reality series. 36 days into the mission, the show is canceled and Scott is stuck on a round trip to Mars. His only known companion is the smart-mouthed, artificially intelligent ship computer. Jack Spratt, the show’s producer, tries desperately to re-sell the show and save his career…and Scott.
